Workshops & Classes

 

Fantasy Theatre Factory's theatre, circus, movement, reading and cultural arts workshops & classes are a great opportunity for young people and adults to let their creative energies flow in a safe, nurturing environment. All FTF workshop programs for youth incorporate Sunshine State Standards and are fully customized for each group being served.

 

FTF is recognized as an industry leader in creating high quality, award winning workshop residency programs. FTF creates programs aimed at students of all ages, levels and abilities. We have specialized programs for special needs groups and at-risk teens and pre-teens.

 

All FTF workshop teachers are experienced Artists-in-Education with years of professional artistic experience in their respective disciplines. Our Master Teaching Artists have a minimum of 10 years of experience in their artistic disciplines. The fact that FTF only works with professional, working artists sets FTF's workshop programs apart from other organizations. At FTF, we utilize only the best Artists-in-Education available.

Workshops & Classes can be held at your venue anywhere in the State of Florida (school, library, etc.) or at the Sandrell Rivers Theater located at: 6103 NW 7th Avenue, Miami, Fl - 33127.

 

FTF's workshops & classes can be geared for ages 3-adult. Age brackets are generally 3 years in range (4-7, 8-11, 12-15, 16-18, 18+). Workshop length: From 30-minutes to all day & multiple day residencies.

 

FTF workshop programs have been conducted all across the State of Florida, including at: Miami-Dade & Broward public Schools, University of Miami, Nova Southeastern University, The Cushman School, City of Pembroke Pines Arts Park, YMCA of Broward County (Special Needs Residency Program), Memorial Health Care (After-School Program), Henderson Mental Health Center, and many others!
